It’s been maybe, what, two days since I last checked the notes for MMG standard (at most).

How exactly did it get from 800 notes to 2,000???

Changes from standard edition:

- All new areas
- Game span is at least twice as long
- Audio tracks are longer, and no longer short loops (blame this for the larger file size)
- All new sprites for all characters
- Newer ending
- More rubbish dialogue

Download:

- The game itself
- The RTP (required to run game)*

*if you already have the RTP (which you will if you’ve already played the standard edition) or a copy of RPG Maker VX Ace, you wont need to download the RTP again

I’m in the process of the final playtesting and I don’t have much more to add, really.

The extended edition should be complete very, very soon. If all goes well, the download will be posted today.

Play-testing has got to be the most headache enduing thing ever. And it can really take away the fun of whatever you’re testing.

But regardless, I finished quite a big part of Medoka Magik Grls Extended! It’s coming along quite nicely if I do say so myself.

Almost time to begin work on the final part of the game, and then it’ll be available for download!

And thanks to everyone for helping the original game reach 600, almost 700 notes!

Medoka Magik Grls - Character Sprites

Spent the day working on new character sprites for Medoka Magik Grls, as well as some other stuff.

Big thank you to those who have tried the game and shared it around - this morning the original post reached 400 notes! Very pleased.

The extended edition will hopefully be out by the end of the week (I have a lot of time to work on it tomorrow while Lily’s at track).

Medoka Magik Grls has reached 200 notes, which was surprising. Thank you all for playing!

I’m currently working on a second version, Medoka Magik Grls Extended, which will:

- Extend the sound track of the original game (so you don’t hear a constant 10 second loop in every area)

- Add sound effects for certain things

- Include two new areas, extending Koko’s and Homa’s roles in the game

- Add a bonus area for treasure hunters

- Add an optional ending that requires more than choosing an option at the end

- Include more orignal art work, including new sprites for Cubay and more accurate sprites for Medoka, Sayka, Mumi, Koko and Homa (originally all sprites were unedited RPG Maker VX Ace sprites)

- Add more stupid dialogue and bad jokes (yay!)

- Cost £6.99 (lol just kidding)
